Terms and Conditions


Article 1 (Purpose)

The purpose of these Terms and Conditions is to define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the cyber mall operated by Decam Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Mall") and its users regarding the use of internet-related services (hereinafter referred to as "Services") provided by the Stitch of Stories website (hereinafter referred to as "Mall").

※ These Terms and Conditions also apply to e-commerce conducted via PC communications or wireless methods, provided that it does not conflict with the nature of such transactions.


Article 2 (Definitions)

  1. "Mall" refers to the virtual business site established by Decam Co., Ltd., enabling transactions of goods or services (hereinafter referred to as "Goods") via computers or other information and communication facilities, and it also signifies the business operator managing the cyber mall.
  2. "User" refers to both members and non-members who access the "Mall" and use its services as provided in these Terms and Conditions.
  3. "Member" refers to a person who has registered as a member by providing personal information to the "Mall," continuously receives information from the "Mall," and can use the services provided by the "Mall."
  4. "Non-member" refers to a person who uses the services provided by the "Mall" without registering as a member.

Article 3 (Specification, Explanation, and Amendment of Terms)

  1. The "Mall" shall post these Terms, its name, the representative’s name, business address (including the address for handling consumer complaints), telephone number, fax number, email address, business registration number, e-commerce license number, and personal information management officer on the initial service screen of the Stitch of Stories cyber mall for users to easily access. The Terms may also be provided via a linked screen.

  2. Before a user agrees to these Terms, the "Mall" must provide a separate screen or popup for users to fully understand critical matters such as withdrawal of subscription, delivery responsibilities, and refund conditions.

  3. The "Mall" may amend these Terms within the scope of not violating relevant laws, such as the Act on Consumer Protection in E-Commerce, the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions, the Basic Act on Electronic Transactions, the Electronic Signature Act, the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization, and the Consumer Protection Act.

  4. In case of amendments, the "Mall" will announce the application date and reason for amendment on its initial screen along with the current Terms at least 7 days before the application date. For amendments unfavorable to users, a notice period of at least 30 days shall be provided.

  5. Amended Terms apply only to contracts made after the application date. Contracts made prior will adhere to the previous Terms unless users explicitly agree to apply the amended Terms.

  6. Any matters not stipulated in these Terms and their interpretation shall follow relevant laws and practices.


Article 4 (Provision and Modification of Services)

  1. The "Mall" performs the following tasks:

    1. Provision of information on goods or services and conclusion of purchase contracts.
    2. Delivery of goods or services under concluded purchase contracts.
    3. Other tasks defined by the "Mall."
  2. The "Mall" may modify the contents of goods or services to be provided due to stock depletion or changes in technical specifications. In such cases, the "Mall" will immediately announce the modified details and the date of provision in the location where the existing goods or services are posted.

  3. If the "Mall" changes the contents of a contracted service due to reasons such as stock depletion or technical changes, the "Mall" must promptly notify the user at the provided address.

  4. The "Mall" shall compensate users for damages caused by such modifications unless the "Mall" proves there was no negligence or intentional misconduct.


Article 5 (Suspension of Services)

  1. The "Mall" may temporarily suspend services due to maintenance, replacement, or breakdown of information and communication facilities such as computers, or due to communication disruptions.

  2. The "Mall" shall compensate users or third parties for damages caused by such suspension unless the "Mall" proves there was no negligence or intentional misconduct.

  3. If services cannot be provided due to reasons such as business transitions, cessation, or mergers, the "Mall" will notify users as stipulated in Article 8 and compensate consumers based on the conditions initially presented. If compensation standards are not disclosed, the "Mall" shall provide equivalent value in currency or goods for unused mileage or points.


Article 6 (Membership Registration)

  1. Users apply for membership by filling out the registration form and agreeing to these Terms.

  2. The "Mall" shall register users as members unless they fall under any of the following:

    1. If the user has previously lost membership under Article 7(3), except for cases where 3 years have passed since membership loss and re-registration is approved by the "Mall."
    2. If the registration information is false, incomplete, or contains errors.
    3. If registering as a member is deemed technically problematic by the "Mall."
  3. Membership is considered established when the "Mall’s" approval reaches the user.

  4. Members must promptly inform the "Mall" of any changes to their registered information via email or other methods.


Article 7 (Membership Withdrawal and Loss)

  1. Members may request to withdraw at any time, and the "Mall" will process the withdrawal immediately.

  2. The "Mall" may restrict or suspend membership under the following circumstances:

    1. If false information was provided during registration.
    2. If payment obligations for goods or services are not met by the due date.
    3. If another user’s use of the "Mall" is disrupted or their information is misused.
    4. If acts violate laws or public morality.
  3. If the same violation is repeated twice or is not rectified within 30 days, the "Mall" may revoke membership.

  4. In the case of membership revocation, the "Mall" will notify the member and provide a minimum 30-day period for the member to explain before the membership is canceled.


Article 8 (Notification to Members)

  1. When notifying members, the "Mall" may use the email address provided in advance by the member.

  2. For notifications to a large number of unspecified members, the "Mall" may post the notice on the "Mall" bulletin board for at least one week instead of individual notifications. However, for matters significantly affecting individual transactions, the "Mall" will provide individual notifications.


Article 9 (Purchase Application)

Users can apply for purchases on the "Mall" through the following or similar methods, and the "Mall" must make the following information easily understandable during the purchase process. For members, steps 2 through 4 may be omitted:

  1. Search for and select goods or services.
  2. Input of personal details: name, address, phone number, email address (or mobile phone number).
  3. Confirmation of key contract details, including the terms and conditions, withdrawal rights, delivery fees, and installation costs.
  4. Express agreement to the terms, such as clicking a checkbox.
  5. Submit the purchase application and receive confirmation.
  6. Selection of payment method.

Article 10 (Formation of the Contract)

  1. The "Mall" may decline the purchase application under the following circumstances:

    1. If the application contains false, missing, or incorrect information.
    2. If the applicant is a minor attempting to purchase restricted items (e.g., tobacco or alcohol) without legal guardian consent.
    3. If the acceptance of the purchase application is technically or administratively unfeasible.
  2. The contract is considered concluded when the "Mall’s" acceptance reaches the user in the form of a receipt confirmation notification under Article 12(1).

  3. The "Mall’s" receipt confirmation must include details about the purchase application, availability, and information on modifications or cancellations.


Article 11 (Payment Methods)

Payments for goods or services purchased on the "Mall" can be made through any of the following methods, and the "Mall" will not impose additional fees for the payment method selected:

  1. Bank transfer via phone banking, internet banking, or mail banking.
  2. Payment using prepaid cards, debit cards, or credit cards.
  3. Online deposits without a bankbook.
  4. Payment through electronic money.
  5. Payment upon receipt of goods.
  6. Payment using mileage points or credits issued by the "Mall."
  7. Payment using vouchers authorized by the "Mall."
  8. Other electronic payment methods.

Article 12 (Receipt Confirmation and Modification or Cancellation of Purchase Application)

  1. Upon receiving a purchase application, the "Mall" will send a receipt confirmation to the user.

  2. Upon receiving the receipt confirmation, the user may request modifications or cancellations if there are discrepancies. The "Mall" will promptly process such requests if the order has not yet been shipped. If payment has already been made, the request will be handled according to the withdrawal terms in Article 15.


Article 13 (Delivery of Goods)

  1. Unless otherwise agreed, the "Mall" will take necessary measures, such as production and packaging, to ensure the delivery of goods within seven days of the user’s order. If payment has already been made, the measures will be taken within two business days of receiving the payment. The "Mall" will provide tracking updates for the delivery process.

  2. The "Mall" must specify delivery methods, costs, and delivery times. If the agreed delivery time is exceeded, the "Mall" shall compensate users for any resulting damages, unless the "Mall" can prove there was no negligence or intentional misconduct.


Article 14 (Refunds)

If the "Mall" cannot deliver or provide the goods due to stock depletion or other reasons, the "Mall" will promptly notify the user and refund any payment made within two business days or take necessary measures for the refund.


Article 15 (Withdrawal of Purchase and Refund Conditions)

  1. Users who have entered into a contract with the "Mall" may withdraw their purchase within seven days of receiving a receipt confirmation.

  2. Users may not return or exchange goods under the following conditions:

    1. If the goods are lost or damaged due to user negligence (excluding damage to packaging necessary for inspection).
    2. If the value of goods has significantly decreased due to use or partial consumption.
    3. If the value of goods has significantly decreased due to the passage of time, making resale difficult.
    4. If goods that can be reproduced with the same performance have had their original packaging damaged.
  3. If restrictions on withdrawal are not explicitly stated, the user’s right to withdraw will not be limited.

  4. If the goods differ from the description or are improperly delivered, users may withdraw their purchase within three months of receiving the goods or 30 days from discovering the issue.


Article 16 (Effects of Withdrawal of Purchase)

  1. Upon withdrawal, the "Mall" will refund the payment within three business days of receiving the returned goods. For delays, the "Mall" will pay interest according to the rate specified by the Fair Trade Commission.

  2. If payment was made by credit card or electronic currency, the "Mall" will immediately request the payment processor to halt or cancel the payment.

  3. The cost of returning goods due to withdrawal shall be borne by the user, except when the withdrawal is due to product discrepancies or contract violations, in which case the "Mall" shall bear the return costs.

  4. If the user paid delivery charges at the time of purchase, the "Mall" must clearly indicate who will bear the cost in case of withdrawal.


Article 17 (Protection of Personal Information)

  1. The "Mall" collects only the minimum personal information required to fulfill purchase contracts. Required information includes:

    1. Name.
    2. Address.
    3. Phone number.
    4. Login ID (for members).
    5. Password (for members).
    6. Email address or mobile phone number.
  2. The "Mall" must obtain user consent when collecting identifiable personal information.

  3. Personal information will not be used for purposes other than those consented to by the user or provided to third parties without consent, except in the following cases:

    1. For delivery purposes, minimum required information may be shared with delivery companies.
    2. For statistics, research, or market analysis, data may be shared in a non-identifiable form.
    3. For payment settlements related to transactions.
    4. For identity verification to prevent misuse.
    5. When required by law or for unavoidable legal reasons.
  4. The "Mall" ensures that personal information managers are designated and discloses the purpose and scope of data collection. Users can withdraw consent at any time.

  5. Users have the right to access and correct their personal information at any time.

  6. The "Mall" will destroy personal information once its retention purpose is fulfilled unless retention is required by law.
